"The second part I would stress is both of these individuals, Bobby Engel and Tony Ornato were very close to President Trump.
"Some people accused them of, at times, being yes-men and enablers of the President, particularly Tony Ornato.
"People who wanted to do what [Trump] wanted and see him pleased.
"That was frustrating to agents that were more focussed on security or being independent or good planning.
"So both of these individuals lose a little bit of credibility because of how closely they have been seen as aligned to Donald Trump.
Out of curiousity, and since you're a psychologist, consider asking yourself this: how much of this is true and how much of this is heresay and uncorroborated testimony that you want to believe is true because you hate Trump?
ReplyDeleteRi-i-i-ight. We need to shmutz up a little the reputations of anyone who might distort the narrative by testifying they were actually there in the vehicle.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: did the one witness so far keep journal? Did she tell a close friend? Or did she just keep this all to herself till the committee reached out to her or vice-versa she approached the committee? Is there ANY corroborating evidence at all?
