Esptein's filing shows he claims his intent and goal was to bring about "the equality of the sexes in divorce proceedings" for a "woman wishing to escape her marriage".
Notwithstanding that Halacha does not believe in "equality of the sexes in divorce proceedings" nor does Halacha permit a spouse to simply "escape her marriage" simply because she wants a divorce.
The prosecutors filings show that Rabbi Ralbag testified in court that Epstein (and some of the other defendants in this case) participated in numerous forced/violent involuntary Get procurements. And that R. Ralbag was aware of all this stuff long before they were charged.
The notorious Ami Magazine has agunos on the cover again. I cant bring myself to open a magazine that comes in shrink-wrap even if the plastic cover is transparent. Is this weeks issue a follo up to the last, at the request of the Munkatcher Rebbe, to try to elicit some sympathy for epstein?
