wonderful idea! just feed them bread and water
@puzzled parent. You and others automatically find guilty all men who refuse to give their wife a GET. You dont care to learn the facts of the case, but all men are guilty. Little do you know that many such men want to give a GET but are just asking for better custody/visitation conditions which are being denied by their spouses. They have equal rights to their children period. I know personally that the NYS court systems couldnt care less about the mans rights! The Aguna movement screams about womens rights with exclusivity in mind. They want 100% rights and benefits given to the women and no consideration for the man. If you want to emasculate men to worthless status, then why get married to begin with? You were presumebly attracted to a man for his masculinity, but when he asserts his masculine rights , you reject him? This is the double standard that the women live with today.
A complete farce. And killers should be given mehadrin? Why not deny mehadrin to convicted kidnappers. And to rapists. Heck, to anyone, no? Deny them kosher altogether. And deny them the time to pray. Why not just lynch them.
Why don't you think Beth Alexander should have equal rights then?
You are such an untruthful ranter Michael. What about the facts in your case? You took Beth's children off her by lies corruption and dishonesty. Where are her and their equal rights? How about manipulating 'Janet' and others to trick her to going to Ezra and then encouraging them to spread lies about her non-existent post natal depression. What is manly about spreading lies about your wife and trying to ruining her reputation? What is manly about abuse and violence and scheming with your friend Foldes to have your then wife admitted to a mental hospital for no other reason than you wanted to dispose of her and separate her from her children. B'H your evil plan was thwarted. What is manly and masculine about silencing your wife through the corrupt court when she fights back for them - you've got something to hide then have you? Lets have your honest answer Michael - you don't even know the meaning of the word honesty.
a reply that someone sent me to your point: First, the ban is designed to pressure the mesarev get into giving the get (it isn't a punishment). And second, whereas someone who commits murder is still obligated to keep mitzvot (especially assuming one is remorseful), here you have a person on the one hand defying a rabbinical order and on the other insisting on being treated like a religious person.
@devora You see how delusional women can be. You think I'm michael, but I'm not. But Devora , did you sit thru all the court proceedings? If not, then why do you jump to judgement about Michael? Perhaps the courts found her to be unfit as a custodial parent? I too dont know all the facts, but do know that in the majority of cases the woman gets custody of young children? So it begs here to understand why did Beth not get custody? Additionally Devora are you going to stand up and argue in the defense of a man whose wife doesnt let him see his children? Please stop ranting about Michael until you have actual facts to why she doesnt have custody to begin with.
EVERYONE is "obligated to keep mitzvot". Period. It is forbidden to deny anyone the ability to fulfil mitzvos to his fullest, EVEN IF he is negligent on other mitzvos. If someone is an active thief you may not deny him the ability to pray or whatever else.
I ..dont know all the facts, but do know Amazing! You readily admit to not knowing the facts, but then go on making assertions as if you do know the facts. The facts in this case are quite clear. The burden of proof remains with you to disqualify and answer the many, many, many wrongdoings that have been highlighted about this case. You have yet to make one sensible argument about this specific case. What is it you said about delusions?!
It's very strange how from eighteen months of having only supervised visits, the judge suddenly, and without reason reversed her decision and gave the father custody!. Beth was then not allowed to see her children for eight weeks. Then she was granted unsupervised visits, which means that there is nothing wrong with her as a parent! Why can't they both have equal visiting at least? Where is the logic?
@Honesty It appears that your mind is so twisted that you cant read my words. I did not change my mind and state that "i know the facts of the Beth case,as you quoted me, rather I said " I do know that in the majority of divorce cases , a woman gets custody"! But the liar feminists are so crafty in their words that they look to distort what others are saying merely to argue moot points. Mr/Mrs Honesty, I'm sure you never have run to the defense of a man in his divorce battles , after all THE MAN IS ALWAYS GUILTY IN THIS FEMINIST DOMINATING WORLD!
What do you have against feminism so much? Do you think women are getting uppity? What is wrong with a woman sticking up forherself against violence and abuse? Whyshould any woman be beaten down and destroyed or let her children be treated likewise? Part of the essence of feminism that you are trying so hard to negate isequality in the workplace and ending violence against women what’s wrong withthat? We arelearning in these current Parshat the worth of the woman in family life – sheis not to be subjugated and put down and beaten but listened to and respected. Eshet Chayil is sung to her on a Fridaynight think of the words within that beautiful Zemirah. Whena couple stand under the Chuppah the bride is handed a Ketubah by her husbandwhere he undertakes to provide for her, look after her and attend to all herneeds whatever they may be. Lets have your rational honest thoughts.
not true. for example the army gives soldiers a certain amount of time to pray. you can't claim that you want to say the ketoret, or X number of tehillim or whatever and everyone has to make room for that. while the prison service may supply prisoners with a lulav and etrog, they are under no obligation to supply them with one that meets every chumra (if the prisoner demands one). there are tons of examples like this.
To all the nay sayers. Masechet malkos states, one that needed to run to Arei Miklot in case of killing beshogeg, vegolin Rabboi imoi to accomodate him in learning Torah. Furthermore, the mothers of the Kohen Gadol (plural for many kohanim gedolim) use to bring food to the inmates so that they should not pray for the kohen gadol to pass on, thereby, gaining their freedom. That feed was outside of what the leviyim supplied You can rest assured that the food was homemade mehadrin min hamehadrin. In masechet Shabbos it states that, mi sheochal shum yachzor veyochal?, sInce his breath is anyways odorous. BTW, if it is utilized as a coercion technique, it causes a get Meusseh. machnisin oto tachas hakipah Lechem tzor umayim lachatz that is barley was reserved for one that kills bemeizid while making sure there are no eidim. That is all.
According to your logic, why feed them at all??
