George W Bush, who opposed Trump, was a very dangerous man - got into a fake war against Iraq - falsely accusing them of 9/11. His policies made the middle east much more deadly.
It is also notable that Trump hasn't embarked on any new wars yet. he avoided war with Iran or even a limited strike. I am not saying that is a good thing - but if you are going to war, at least fight the right war. That isn't what previous administrations did.

Depends on what your measure of good and bad is.
