President Trump on Monday defended his tax history, saying that he paid “millions of dollars” to the Internal Revenue Service and argued he is "entitled" to tax credits "like everyone else" in the wake of a New York Times report that said he paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years.

So he paid no taxes. That means he had a good accountant who twisted the rules to reduce his taxes owing to zero. It means the IRS never audited him. Good for him. Why would anyone want to pay taxes to a government run by him?

ReplyDeleteBecause he accomplished this by using debt to bring them down to zero. But don' worry. Putin's gold card will help when that comes due.
