Sen. Duckworth, who lost both legs in the Iraq War, hits back at Tucker Carlson for suggesting she hates America

The senator has also drawn attention from the Trump campaign. Trump shared the video of Carlson's monologue on Tuesday, and his campaign released a statement later in the day saying she was "using her military service to deflect from her support for the left-wing campaign to villainize America’s founding."

  1. Tucker is strong enough right now to take on any comers.

Did the Senator even try to refute what Tucker said? Apparently not. It's not about discourse anymore. We're beyond talk.

This is nothing short of war. And indeed people are dying in the streets of major cities. This is a bloody conflict. Defund police. Kill the kids.

  2. Torah thought on Balak (diaspora):
“While Israel was staying at Shittim, the people profaned themselves by whoring [others began to commit harlotry] with the Moabite women ויחל העם לזנות אל בנות מואב, who invited the people to the sacrifices לזבחי for their gods אלהיהן. The people did eat, and bowed down to their gods. Thus Israel attached itself to Baal-peor, and the Lor was incensed with Israel. The Lord said to Moses, Take all the ringleaders [lit. heads of the people.] and have them publicly [others in face of the sun] impaled והוקע אותם before the Lord, so that the Lord’s wrath may turn away from Israel. So Moses said to the judges of Israel שפטי ישראל: Each of you slay הרגו איש אנשיו those of his men who attached themselves to Baal-peor.” (Numbers 25:1-5).
Hertz Chumash p. 681:”4.take all the chiefs of the people. Assemble them together in a council. The words ‘with thee’ should be added to make it clear that it was the sinners, and not the Israelite chieftains, that were punished.”
God commands Moses to stone to death and then to hang the bodies of the sinners in broad daylight for the sin of idolatry.

  3. “her support for the left-wing campaign to villainize America’s founding”
My theory on Numbers 25:1-5 is that no one did real idolatry. No one was stoned to death and no one hanged in Shittim. It was a hoax.

Hoax= a humorous or malicious deception. "they recognized the plan as a hoax"

The Torah gives the laws for courts to punish real idolatry. “While Israel was staying at Shittim, the people profaned themselves by whoring [others began to commit harlotry] with the Moabite women ויחל העם לזנות אל בנות מואב, who invited the people to the sacrifices לזבחי for their gods אלהיהן.”
Yes God did kill 24,000: “Those who died of the plague numbered twenty-four thousand.” (Numbers 25:9).
Hertz Chumash p. 682: “9.those that died by the plague. In the census taken immediately after ‘the plague’ (chapter 26), the tribe of Simon, to whom Zimri belonged, showed the greatest loss in population as compared with the previous census. The Simeonite camp was located in the southern side of the Israelitish encampment, in the vicinity of the Moabites, and hence was more exposed than were the others to the evil Moabitish influences.”
“When Phinehas, son of Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saw this, he left the assembly and, taking a spear in his hand, he followed the Israelite into the chamber and stabbed both of them, the Israelite and the woman, through the belly. Then the plague against the Israelites was checked.” (Numbers 25:7-8).
Did Phinehas commit a wanton act of murder? Sanhedrin 92b: “R. Sheshet said: Her name was not Cozbi, but Shewilanai the daughter of Zur. Why then was she called Cozbi? Because she falsified her father's teachings. Another interpretation is: She said to her father, Devour me [kosbi] this people, And thus it is a popular proverb, What business hath Shewilanai by the reeds of the lake? What hath Shewilanai to do amongst the peeling rushes? She prostitutes her mother.”
Cozbi hated Jews. Today in America there are Jew haters.

“The Jew-haters in the Book of Numbers
The Sages tell us that Moses wrote the Book of Bilaam. He had good reason to record this antisemite's words. Balak and Bilaam were models for Jew haters.”
“Moses is a strict teacher threatening severe punishments
G-d, through Moses, threatens severe punishments for failing to follow Torah law: “You must have completely honest weights and completely honest measures, if you are to endure long on the soil that the Lord your God is giving you. For everyone who does those things, everyone who deals dishonestly, is abhorrent to the Lord your God.” (Deuteronomy 25:15-16). Many examples in the Torah: “But if you do not obey the Lord your God to observe faithfully all His commandments and laws which I enjoin upon you this day, all these curses shall come upon you and take effect:” (Deuteronomy 28:15).
God loves us and all will be well in the end
Bilaam’s visions of Israel idyllic happiness and prosperity and Israel victory over enemies could make some Jews think they don’t have to follow the Torah. God loves us and all will be well in the end. Moses (God) purposely put these stirring words of prophecy in the mouth of Bilaam, a Jew hater.
Netanyahu thanks Trump and thanks American supporters of Israel.
“I want to thank President Trump for all he has done for Israel. Israel has never had a better friend in the White House,” said Netanyahu, adding, “Israel’s security has been strengthened immeasurably by President Trump’s bold decision to withdraw from the dangerous nuclear deal with Iran.” Describing the Iranian nuclear deal as a “farce,” Netanyahu urged other countries to follow in Trump’s footsteps and sanction Iran.
So beautiful to read such rapt admiration from a gentile prophet of God, Bilaam. In the same vein, thank you Trump and thank you American supporters of Israel. God bless America.”
