Amid a spate of attacks against Jewish targets in Toronto and Montreal, many Canadian Jews and their allies question whether the government is doing enough
Since Hamas’s terror attack on the Nova festival and on residents of several kibbutzim in southern Israel on October 7, 2023 — which killed 1,200 people and saw 251 taken hostage — incidents of antisemitism in Canada rose dramatically.
What is clear is that this rise in antisemitism is a Canadian concern. And how we respond to it as a country says as much about our civic health as it does about the safety of any one community.
Why is it to so high?
ReplyDeleteBecause the ruling Liberals play ethnic politics. They imported millions of Muslims from countries where Jew-hatred is a way of life and now cater to them to win their votes. So why is it so high?
The teacher unions and universities have been taken over by social justice warriors for whom Israel is the new Nazi Germany and Jews are automatically evil by association. They have pushed this into curriculums from kindergarten up to university and educated a generation of Canadians with these lies.
(An interesting confluence - the same teacher unions that pushed The Lord's Prayer(tm) out of schools because "separation of church and state!" have no hesitations to agree to Muslim community demands to educate about Islam including visits to mosques and indoctrination sessions)
The prime minister himself is a quiet anti-Semites with several open anti-Semites in his caucus and a couple of fig leaf Jews to provide cover.
