The Post cited sources who said Hegseth had ordered “to kill everybody” on an alleged drug boat in an early September attack, which reportedly required two strikes after an initial one failed to kill all on board.
The U.S. military has carried out over 20 strikes targeting alleged drug-smuggling boats, killing more than 80 people that the administration has said were “narco-terrorists.”
The strikes have resulted in backlash from both sides of the aisle, with some raising questions about the legal grounding of the attacks.
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) said in a Friday post on X sharing the Post’s report that “if you want to know why Hegseth is panicking about reminders that there is accountably for giving or carrying out illegal orders, it’s likely because he knows he has given illegal orders to murder people.”
The problem with Disney is that it has remade the images of predators into cuddly characters. People are killed by bears because they grew up with Disney cartoons and then walk up to bears in the wild thinking that they'll be just as friendly as Baloo.
ReplyDeletePeople think pirates are a fun bunch of peg-legged men say "aaaar" and drunking rum on deck all day when in reality they're the worst terrorists out there. The British didn't end international piracy's control of the seas with good manners and a signed agreement. The Royal Navy sank all their boats. So if the US is going to pick up the mantle, instead of criticizing it, I'd suggest other hot spots for them to bomb as well.
How many people exactly walk up to bears in the wild thinking that they'll be just as friendly as Baloo??? You have statisticsto back up your looney Canadian claim?
