The truth, which has Republican Senators concerned, is the opposite: Ms. Gabbard is on ample record as a dogmatic opponent of the policies that made Mr. Trump’s first-term foreign policy a success and that Democrats resisted. The former Democrat would be a risky fit as director of national intelligence (DNI).
You know what the problem with religious fundamentalists is? They can't change their opinions. They're stuck with them for life since the concept of changing one's opinion is heresy. It implies you were wrong in the first place and YOU CAN'T EVER BE WRONG.
ReplyDeleteDemocrats are religious fundamentalists. This makes the clueless as to understanding why so many prominent Democrats and former Trump opponents have changed sides. The concept of "I thought it over and changed my mind" is incomprehensible to them.
