Donald Trump’s Racist NYC Rally Was Vile. It Was Also Political Suicide

 https://www.thedailybeast.com/donald-trumps-racist-nyc-rally-was-vile-it-was-also-political-suicide/

In other words the entire event despite its marathon length and hodgepodge of z-list speakers, delivered over and over again a very focused message. The Trump campaign is about retribution and revenge. It is about the white supremacist desire to purge America of all their neighbors of different colors and beliefs. It is about Trump’s desire to seek out his enemies and punish them. And over the course of its Wagnerian length (and resonances) it single out group after group that would be deported or punished.

  1. Froth at the mouth much?
Are you concerned about illegal immigrants? You're a racist!
You think that people should be treated equally regardless of colour or background? Nazi!

    1. Wow! Trivialize Trump's rhetoric, Only he must have been joking Or as his sycophants claim that even though he said he meant Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi he didn't mean it,
When he says immigrants are poisoning America he only meant the vast majority he falsely claims came straight from jail or insane asylums. When he claims Harris phoshopped crowds on her rally shots he meant to say what?

BTW everybody is against illegal immigration like El;on Musk. It was Trump who blocked passage of a bipartsan bill to deal with the issue

  2. In many elections where you know one side just shot itself in the foot and lost. My first experience with that was in the 1993 federal election in Canada where Kim Campbell's Conservatives released an ad mocking Liberal Leader Jean Chretien's face because he had facial nerve damage as a child and looked odd. The message was (I am not making this up): Do you want a guy who looks like this as your prime minister? That was it. The Conservatives were always going to lose but this is where it went from a loss to a massive loss.
The Trump rally is the moment in this election. Not for Trump but for the Democrats who abandoned all civility and started screaming "Trump is Hitler! Trump is Hitler!" right after while the supportive liberal media tried to draw an equivalence with an actual Nazi rally from 1938. That's a sign of desperation. Frankly, as a Jew you should be ashamed to support this tactic.

    1. The Hitler comparison was made by General Kelly who spent a lot of private time with Trump He is neither a Jew nor a liberal. According to your analysis you would have had no problem supporting the Nazis in prewar Germany and would have objected to those calling Hitler a menace because that is not civil!
When Trump says the greatest danger is the enemy within and the military should be used to deal with them I assume you agree with him and cheer him in his program of revenge against those who disagree with him like the democratic Party as well as his promise of mass deportations of those immigrants he dislikes even though they are in US legally. BTW do you also agree with him that he won the election but the presidency was stolen from him?

    2. Again, you're showing you don't know what Nazis are. Apparently neither does Kelly.
And who knows? If Hitler, y"sh, had been Hitler but without the Jew hatred, of if he'd seen the potential of the Jewish community and actually embraced it but was otherwise Hitler, I think lots of Jews would've supported him.
As you know, R' P' Marc Shapiro has a copy of the letter sent by the Jewish community leadership to Hitler saying basically "Dude, we agree with most of your program but could you stop it with the anti-Semitism thing so we can support you?"

    3. Total nonsense! Kelly understands who Hitler and the Nazis were but Trump obviously finds them to have redeeming features such as total obedience to the Leader not to morality or law

Yes it is true that some Jewish leaders assumed that Hitler didn't mean everything he said in the 1930's. But any living person, post Holocaust, saying that Hitler did some good things - is not fit to be president

    4. Garnel you are showing an ignorance of history and insensitivity comparable to that of Trump. The only thing of importance is electing Trump - therefore any negative information is to be ignored or trivialized

    5. And for you the only thing of importance is not electing Trump, even if it means and Israel-hating regime that wants to end freedom of speech and belief is put there instead.
A few decades ago, a contestant in the federal election in Canada got in trouble because he quoted Joseph Goebels - "What luck it is for rulers than men don't think." Now yes, quoting a Nazi approvingly is a bad thing but, on the other hand, the quote is quite correct.

    6. Does trump want to defend Israel, or appease Iran and Islam?

    7. Trump is interested in Trump. When he was president, he saw pushing back against Obama's plans to give Iran power over the Middle East because he felt the Arabs would be better supporters of America. And unlike Ukraine where there are sticky territorial and national pride considerations, he can take Israel's side and push for total victory without WW3 type consequences.

    8. I actually think this trump - and he's apparently winning - is going to be better than the first one. He's more experienced, has had time to think, and is the right person to lead USA in this troubled time

    9. Right! Because of his experience he will more accurately surround himself with loyal yes men - no more adult in the room to restrain his childish tantrums of revenge against the enemy within and narcissistic glory.
He will readily sacrifice Ukraine Taiwan and Israel to get the Nobel Peace Prize

He will assasinate political enemies -for the sake of the country as an official act and escape punishment because of his supreme court and his attorney general his FBI anf justice department

    10. What he's s said about Ukraine is that he wants to reach a peace steal and if the Russians don't play he will strengthen Ukraine.

    11. Since when are Trump's promises taken seriously? He said Mexico was paying for his wall. He was going to pick the best men for his government - he now calls them stupid or traitors. The Republicans would get sick of constantly winning, Covid was going away by itself and wasn't serious problem. He had a great plan to replace Obamacare. etc. etc.

    13. You keep insisting Biden/Harris hate Israel. In fact there is more evidence Trump is the one who hates all those he can't control. Which includes Jews Israel and Bibi

    14. Sorry, you are basing your predictions on his statements. Then you say his statements aren't reliable, so your predictions are also not reliable

    15. Jews who hate Trump had to introduce the lie that he hates Jews to avoid answering the question "If he's so pro-Jewish and pro-Israel, why are you voting against him?"
