When a gadol errs and says he is fallible

  1. In this story, who is the Gadol who errs?
Rav Salomon says he is fallible, but where does he say he erred?
Or is his statement an error, claiming that in the rpevious generation his nisyonos were surmountable? The important thing is to remember that we should never ask for a nisayon, chas v'shalom, nor to ever test Hashem!

  2. He says he was capable of sinning. Which is immediately rejected as just being Humble

  3. unless there is a profound meaning to this article, it is quite nonsensical , and sycophantic.
Oh, the Gadol was humble enough to admit he might sin!

  4. I think you are missing the sarcasm here and that the entire post is satirical, showing the absurdity of that publication's point of view.

  6. I am quite certain he is criticizing the source he is citing in the post. Their approach to Judaism is that gedolim cannot err.... Except when gedolim claim gedolim are fallible. In that case, we correct them. I don't think this is DT's approach.
