The Jewish Chronicle A Jewish teacher accused of sexual assaults on two schoolgirls is facing a retrial after a jury failed to reach a verdict.
The panel was discharged by a judge on Monday after admitting it was
unable to agree on the case of father-of-ten Todros Grynhaus, 50,
following almost three days of deliberation.
Mr Grynhaus is alleged to have molested the girls when they were
between the ages of 13 and 15 then relied on the Orthodox Jewish
community’s ‘resentment’ of reporting matters to the police to keep the
allegations secret.
