Fox News’ Tucker Carlson went on a bizarre tirade against Volodymyr Zelenskyy, complaining that the Ukrainian president was “dressed like the manager of a strip club” when he addressed Congress on Wednesday.
In a historic in-person appeal to a rare joint session of Congress, Zelenskyy thanked the U.S. for helping his country fight back against the Russian invasion. As Ukraine enters a brutal winter, Zelenskyy, dressed in battle fatigues, highlighted the importance of U.S. aid to the country’s ongoing resistance.
Carlson was concerned with the wartime leader’s choice of outfit.
What's the obsession with Tucker Ç? Is he a yeshiva drop out or big apikores?
ReplyDeleteHe is one of the Republican and right wing gedo;lim
ReplyDeleteSee, the best way to get total public scrutiny of all your misdeeds is to identify as a Republican. You could be the exact same person but if you register as a Democrat, your mistakes and misdeeds will be censored and erased. If anyone manages to dredge them up, he'll be attacked as a horrible person. Yeah, Democrat is definitely the way to go if you're a bad person.
ReplyDeleteWow! who is Carlson's Democratic twin who is being ignored?
ReplyDeleteHmmm, which network has had multiple commentators in the past year slander Israel and Jews? Not Fox. Oh yeah, CNN.
ReplyDeleteDemocrats are just as crazy or criminal but the media ignores or erases it.
The paradigm for that is the 1988 election where Dan Quayle was Bush I's VP candidate and Lloyd Bentsen was Dukakis'. The media almost daily reported on some gaffe, error or stupid thing that Quayle said. The message was clear - Quayle is an idiot and you shouldn't vote for Bush I. Until late in the campaign one local paper ran a list of Bentsen's stupid remarks and determined that it was just as long. The media had ignored it in hopes of building up him.
Yes, we say "What about Clinton and Biden" because the Dem's insist that they are the more moral and intelligent of the parties and Republicans can point out that they're just as stupid and corrupt.
wow let's ignore the elephants in the room because what about
ReplyDeleteHow about a token Torah post?
ReplyDeleteThe elephant in the room is a corrupt political system dominated by incompetent self-serving politicians influenced by radical activities who care nothing about the greater good and only about advancing their agenda. They are aided by folks like you who see this as a team sport and, having picked their team, will support it no matter how low they sink by constantly pointing out faults on the other team while the system as a whole rots through.
ReplyDeleteyour solution - anarchy, monarchy or dictator?!
ReplyDeleteWell this is the tricky part. You need a strong centre-right and centre-left leader to take control of their respective parties. They then have to tell their activists to take a hike. They somehow have to be ruthless while remaining non-fanatic. Then they have to meet, agree on common goals despite having different solutions for reaching those goals and demand a mutually acceptable path forward.
ReplyDeleteThe problem, as Modern Orthodox found out long ago and as I wrote long ago on my blog, is that the political spectrum isn't a line, it's roof with a narrow pointy top. It's impossible to stand there because you keep sliding in one direction or another.
Don't joke about dictators. Chile today is a functioning and prosperous democracy because of Pinochet and all his atrocities.
ReplyDeleteSo you advocate having a dictator?!
ReplyDeletewow!
ReplyDeleteSo you think atrocities and dictators are beneficial?!
When is it easier to help a donkey with a heavy burden? When it's stumbling or when it's already collapsed on the ground?
ReplyDeleteDo you wait for free society to dissolve into chaos and the rise of a dozen petty dictators or do you take control of the situation while things are still functional?
Again are you advocating a dictator? or emperor for life such as Trump fantasizes?
