Through the founding of the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance (JOFA) she carved out the path for Orthodox women to become rabbis and explore greater participation in ritual. Through the creation of the International Beit Din (IBD), she has helped many agunot, women trapped in unwanted marriages.

  1. I've never supported the Greenbergs but I understand where they're coming from.
There are huge social problems in the Orthodox world that can't be solved by "Nu, just learn another blatt Gemora" or something like that.
People want the agunah problem solved. Women with high levels of Jewish education don't want to be told "Nu, your role is to make sure the cholent is tasty on Shabbos". And "The Gedolim"(tm) demand that there be no solutions. In desperation, people will look elsewhere

    2. One thing I can tell you from experience - people with a problem want to see the folks who could help them doing something.
Telling folks in pain "Sorry, nothing I can do here about your abusive marriage" and then announcing you've found heterim for paedophiles not to get reported to the police causes anguish.

    3. Rav bleich published a pre nuptial mechanism, which was used by the Spanish rabbis. It's not a pna.
I don't know if it ever gained acceptance
