This makes no sense. How would a low level aide manage to influence the media? And who says the media, which would outright support Hamas if they thought it would get rid of Bibi, need to be bribed?
Qatar has been trying for years to influence American Orthodox Jewish community, many bigwigs accepted substantial sums. In fact, was background to Spinka tax scandal. Qatar thinks Jews control the world, and since Orthodox Jews are the only real Jews, the tried there.
