Addressing her colleagues, Greene tried to dissociate herself from her “words of the past.” Contradicting past social media posts, she said she believes the 9-11 attacks and mass school shootings were real and no longer believes QAnon conspiracy theories, which include lies about Democratic-run pedophile rings.
But she didn’t explicitly apologize for supportive online remarks she’s made on other subjects, as when she mulled about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi being assassinated or the possibility of Jewish-controlled space rays causing wildfires. And she portrayed herself as the victim of unscrupulous “big media companies.”

Midrash Rabbah - Exodus XXVIII:2
“The Lord called to him out of the mountain, saying:” This was for the sake of the Patriarchs who are referred to as the mountain [Supra, XV, 4], for it says, “Hear what the LORD is saying: Come, present [My] case before the mountains, And let the hills hear you pleading. Hear, you mountains, the case of the Lord---You firm [emendation yields give ear, you] foundations of the earth! For the Lord has a case ריב against His people, He has a suit יתוכח against Israel.” (Micah 6:1-2). “And Moses went up unto God.” He went up in a cloud and descended in a cloud, the merit of the fathers ascended and descended with him. “Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob”-this refers to the women [v. Shab. 118b where R. Jose referred to his wife as his house]. God said to Moses: Tell them main outlines such as they can understand. “and declare to the children of Israel”-this refers to the men [The expression And tell is more severe than Thou shalt say, cf. Another explanation: Why did He command the women first?-Because they are prompt in the fulfilment of the commandments. According to the midrash women are prompt in fulfilling mitzvoth. Imagine if God would’ve commanded Eve “but as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat of it; for as soon as you eat of it כי ביום אכלך ממנו you shall die מות תמות.” (Genesis 2:17). Bravo to women.

You must not carry false rumors לא תשא שמע שוא, You shall join hands with the guilty אל תשת ידך עם רשע to act as a malicious witness להיות עד חמס. You shall neither side with the mighty to do wrong לא תהיה אחרי רבים לרעות---You shall not give perverse testimony in a dispute ולא תענה על ריב so as to pervert it in favor of the mighty לנטות אחרי רבים להטות---nor shall you show deference to a poor man in his dispute ודל לא תהדר בריבו.” (Exodus 22:30 and 23:1-3).

Hertz Chumash p. 315: “The Rabbis explain it as a warning not to listen to a calumny, or join others in spreading it. Slander, they say, kills three---the person slandered, the slanderer, and the person who takes up and passes on the slander. They also apply the words of the text to evidence given at a trial. Such evidence must not included a statement of which the witness is not absolutely certain.”
Beautiful. We must not accept slander and not listen to calumny. Calumny = the making of false and defamatory statements about someone in order to damage their reputation; slander.

I'm a CPA USA and Israel but I have very few clients. I'm a research scientist. Rivka and Irwin were trying to stop me. A PhD now from Fordham would be evidence that all the years after January 1984 I spent on research. I owe much to referee comments and journal editors and people that reviewed my work and sent me comments. A PhD now from Fordham would be evidence to recover my good name.

It used to be legal here to own slaves. Uh-hmm. That's right. Slaves. That's how far democracy goes.
So what was Cong. Greene's big "crime"? Social media posts the Dems didn't like. The liberals combed through her social media, and the liberal mainstream media hooted about it, and the Congress acted.
Now Greene is a national heroine to the Far Right. Good one, Dems!
