Ralbag was granted immunity in exchange for his testimony, and the other two witnesses pled guilty to lesser offenses.” Looks like 2 lady judges, Judge Freda Wolfson and Judge Jane Roth are the main ones shutting down totally these fake recalcitrant husbands. The Plaintiff further claimed that the Defendant began to distribute to all the residents of the community that he was a get recalcitrant and demanded that the residents act to create communal pressure in order to obtain the get, and even got her husband - the gabbai of the synagogue - to refuse to call-him-up to the Torah.
The Plaintiff claimed that the Defendant acted without knowing the correct facts, with the clear intention of harming his good name, and worked hand in hand with the woman in order to harm him and to achieve what his wife sought. According to him, in view of the defendant's actions, he broke down and sold his pizzeria, and left the settlement to his parents' home in the north.
These are ORA and agunahinternational bad deeds in America. True get recalcitrant is after a fair bet din ruling that he must divorce his wife and after his refusal to comply to the bet din order. True get recalcitrant is a rarity, isn’t it ??? The false charge of get recalcitrant is libel. “a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation; a written defamation.”
Here in Israel the judge fined a neighbor 300,000 NIS for libel. That’s “fake news” supposedly to help free an agunah and to prevent abuse. The good judge in Israel said there was no agunah that needed freeing and no abuse to the wife.

To educate the Jewish community about Halachic precedents and remedies for freeing agunot.” This is a problem in the USA. This can lead to adultery as Kamenitsky-Greenblatt marrying Tamar though while her husband, Aharon, refuses to divorce her.
