Bedatz denounces Jewish Taliban ladies

BHOL

The Bedatz condemned the extremists sect as an unacceptable deviation from Judaism. An example was a woman whose daughter's life was in danger. She took her daughter to the hospital for treatment. However the mother insisted that her daughter only be treated by female doctors and nurses. When this was not done she took her daughter from the hospital. Thus she held contrary to the Torah that modesty takes precedence over life.

  4. I cannot see rabbi Sternbach's signature, it is usually on the upper right side.

  5. Is it a sin for them not to send their daughter's to one of the accepted schools and supposedly to educate them at home?

What זלזול in the laws of marriage are they accused of perpetrating?

I presume these women are or were married. If their identities are known, why don't they put their families in Cherem if their behaviour is considered deviant?

  6. From what I heard, they disobey their husband's command to stop donning these extreme garments. They are not only disobeying the Rabbonim, they are also disobeying their husbands.
