A federal judge on Wednesday ordered the Trump administration to reverse its cuts of more than $2.6 billion in funding for Harvard University.
U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs ruled the cuts amounted to illegal retaliation for Harvard's rejection of the Trump administration's demands for changes to its governance and policies.
The Trump administration had tied the funding freezes to Harvard's delays in dealing with antisemitism. But Burroughs, an appointee of Democratic President Barack Obama, said in her ruling that there was "little connection between the research affected by the grant terminations and antisemitism."
She wrote: "In fact, a review of the administrative record makes it difficult to conclude anything other than that (the government) used antisemitism as a smokescreen for a targeted, ideologically-motivated assault on this country's premier universities."
Burroughs said it resulted in the government terminating Harvard's grants without complying with the law and retaliating against the school in violation of its free speech rights under the First Amendment.
Burroughs said that it was "clear, even based solely on Harvard's own admissions, that Harvard has been plagued by antisemitism in recent years and could (and should) have done a better job of dealing with the issue."

This Mishnah rules that the Sanhedrin and the anointed priest bring a sacrifice with error in action and in law. Donald Trump bombed that boat from Venezuela with 12 on board was that an error in action? Were these simply 12 innocent fishmen fishing in open water? Was that an error in law? Did Donald Trump overreach his authority to bomb that boat? USA Congress makes the rules what a president can and cannot do, right?
Clearly Bravo Donald Trump acted correctly in action and in law, pekuach nefesh: Donald Trump neutralized an immediate danger to mainland USA acting within powers USA Congress granted over the years for the USA president to protect the country from immediate danger. God bless Donald Trump and America and Israel and the world.
So Harvard is a major cesspool of Jew hatred, promotes Jew hatred and fights for the right to allow Jew hatred openly on campus. But they fought Trump so you support them? Shame!

Let's review:
DeleteHarvard is ranked no 1 for both open Jew hatred and supression of speech and thought.
Trump tells Harvard that if they don't reign in the Jew hatred, he'll penalize them.
Harvard pushes back by saying they will not reign in the Jew hatred because they're dedicated to freedom of speech!
Trump follows through and cuts their funding.
Judge comes along and, despite all actual evidence to the contrary, announces that Jew-hatred has no connection to this and it's really just Trump being petty. Harvard gets its funding and its right to open Jew hatred back.
And you're supporting that.
