One need to connect to God. Period.

DeleteAnd who are the Tzaddikim of the generation? In the previous generation, 40 years ago, we were told of Tzaddikim, until others arose and demolished the accepted Tzaddik and called him a madman. How do we know if x, or y or z is the Tzaddik hador? By following the herd?

DeleteThe Shtick is saying that God is a certain thing or definition. The torah itself connects us to God as studying the ways of a tzaddik does. We don't worship the Torah as we dont worship a tzaddik. It's all one Torah connecting us to One God.
