The great thing about Trump in 2016 was that he wasn't a politician. Unfortunately, there is a reason politicians act against long term sensibilities, it gets votes. We can only hope Trump does not get sucked into the cool-aild. Take Biden and Schumer for instance, they know full well that Israel is 100% only concerned with self-preservation, yet the political thing to do is to not go full Fetterman.
