Josh Hawley and the ‘left-wing attack on manhood’

Hawley goes on to say that because men have been so badly treated – he calls it “the deconstruction of American men” – they’ve started to misbehave and suffer. “Can we be surprised,” he asked in that same speech, “that after years of being told … that their manhood is the problem, more and more men are withdrawing into the enclave of idleness and pornography and video games?”

So what’s the connection to porn, as Mike Allen asked him on “Axios on HBO” on Sunday?

Answer: “You’ve got 16 million men … who are idle, who don’t have anything to do. Now, partly that’s their own responsibility, but also partly it’s because jobs have dried up.”

Another leftist plot, like Covid.

  1. Consider - in Canada the law now permits women to retroactively withdraw consent for sex. That is, a man meets a woman, they hook up voluntarily but the next day she has regrets and decides she was pressured into being intimate. She can now charge the man with sexual assault. If it's the right, or rather, left kind of judge, she will win the case. If that's so, what sensible man would take a chance on a sexual encounter that could end up with him being accused of rape?
Consider - look at any major sitcom in the last 30 years. In every one, if the father is a White male, he is an idiot. His wife pities him and treats him like a servant. His children treat him like a bank machine when they're not insulting him. That is the recurrent portrayal. You think White guys don't notice?
Consider - CoVID wasn't a leftist plot but much of the official government response, from extended lockdowns, to increased regulations, to vaccine mandates, to keeping schools closed, were a leftist plot to increase the power and scope of the nanny state. And again, people noticed.

    Retroactive consent? That's absurd.

Provide a reliable legal reference for your claim about retroactive annulment of consent in Canada, thank you.

what rubbish, he is not presenting a legal case, just his own psycotherapy therapy theory or even teshuva.
Unless it was a violent rape Eg with a knife, Chas vshalom, there's no legal basis to what you claim.
