Tucker Carlson is wrong. Firearms, other weapons were found at the Capitol on Jan. 6

 https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2022/jun/13/tucker-carlson/tucker-carlson-wrong-firearms-other-weapons-were-f/

Court documents, video evidence and news coverage show that several defendants present at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, had firearms — and dozens more wielded knives, bats and other real and makeshift weapons.

  2. you are changing the goal posts
You made a false claim - why can't you admit it

  3. How much am I changing by?
It's a very small statistical difference, I wholly accept I have to revise my claim.

  4. It's America. The story would've been if there weren't firearms.

  5. the point being , all these extreme survivalist militias did not make a show, or at least not with their weapons. 3 people out of 10s of thousdands. the NY subway system probably has more of theme

  6. And that cannot be accurate described as there were no weapons!

  7. Were any shots fired by the protestors? So no salami.

  12. Dont see that you have ever admitted your claim was wrong. Trying to explain why it wasn't mistaken is not admitting error

You say it is mistaken, is it wholy mistaken?
For it to be wholy mistaken, you need to show that the militias came armed and dangerous. All you have shown is that 2 protestors had weapons in their cars, and one was carrying a gun.

  14. Again you are insisting you were correct - not admitting error

  15. lol - you say "not admitting error"
Perhaps the error is something like the claim that only 3000 out of 3,000,000 served or were involved in the Golden calf.
    However, it says

so even the day after the 3000 were killed, the masses were still guilty of sinning.

Out of, lehavdil , the Trumpites, you have found 3 with guns.

  16. In an article for Newsweek, Nick Suplina and Justin Wagner of Everytown for Gun Safety said they had identified "12 individuals allegedly tied to the events of Jan. 6 who were arrested in Washington, D.C., and charged with firearms offenses."

  18. 3 and 12 are greater than zero even in England

    ReplyDelete
  19. In statistics, such a number could be negligible , depending on the size of the cohort

  20. In real life claiming no guns when there were guns is considered a lie

    ReplyDelete
  21. the figure of 12 is a claim made by a lobby group, not by Gov officials.

So confirmed is 3 or 4. Not a single shot was fired, nor were the guns toted. But yes, my initial claim has a a handful of exceptions t it - that does not make it a lie.

    ReplyDelete
  22. if you go to a football or baseball match, they will likely be handful of people in the stadium with guns. That doesn't mean that all spectators are armed and dangerous.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Wow so a murderer can claim he only killed 1 out of millions which is statistically insignificant?

    ReplyDelete
  24. so let's conclude - my statement was not 100% accurate, and had some exceptiosn to it,. If you conisder that a to be a false statemnt or a lie, then fine, that is hwo you see things. I consider it a largely accurate statement, although some small exceptions render it not totally true. It is not a "lie" from my point of view. None of the people in the footage were seen with guns , brandishing them or using them. they dressed like idiots, acted like idiots, and their acts were totally wrong. It was not an armed insurrection - the arms that were found were not used in anger.

  25. The Police who were beaten by these "unarmed" rioters disagree

    ReplyDelete
  26. Exception from facts are normally considered lies. Reframing does not make it true!

  27. So what?
Just like trump's crime were no different than not returning a library book on time

  29. Famous defense - we are all a bit guilty, crazy, mentally ill. We all make mistakes - so no one should ever be convicted of crime or error
