A Jerusalem court handed down an extremely light sentence to former minister Yaakov Litzman on Monday, as part of a plea deal that allowed him to avoid jail time. In exchange, Litzman admitted to abusing his powers in a failed bid to thwart the extradition of a suspected pedophile wanted in Australia.
Under the deal, the former United Torah Judaism party leader pleaded guilty to breach of trust, but prosecutors dropped an obstruction of justice charge, allowing him to avoid a moral turpitude enhancement that would have banned him from politics for several years.
The ex-health minister was accused of using his position to protect Malka Leifer, a former principal of an Orthodox girls’ school in Melbourne, who fled to Israel when accused of sexually assaulting minors.

Surely, this will be a real trial and we’ll find out if Leifer is really a pedophile.
Judge Freda freed Mendel Epstein from jail reported in Pacer 7/26/2022. Mendel Epstein conducted fake bet din hearings against alleged recalcitrant husbands. All Mendel Epstein needed was money from the angry wife and the name and details of her husband. Mendel Epstein got caught with a FBI sting. There was no angry wife and no recalcitrant husband. Mendel Epstein’s whole gang got caught and jailed for conspiracy to commit kidnappng. Except for Rabbi Aryeah Ralbag who Judge Freda gave immunity for his testimony to convict Mendel Epstein. In the testimony came out Tamar paid $60,000 to Mendel Epstein to assault her husband Aaron.
“Litzman gets minor fine, no jail” Mendel Epstein et al gets long jail sentences. The Book of Job goes into questions of wicked escaping punishment and righteous suffering punishments.

He who passes by, and meddles in a quarrel not his own, is like one who takes a dog by the ears.” {Proverbs 26:17}. Yes I know both personally and I do consider both gedolim, fine gentlemen and wise Torah scholars. Rabbi Mendel Epstein made a passionate speech to his jury judging him that he stood in Queens NY nightclub before a recalcitrant husband sitting with ladies of the night. He told that man I’ll go away if you send a get to your wife in Israel.
