Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) say Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson’s rulings in nearly a dozen child pornography cases are raising serious concerns about her judicial philosophy, but the White House says the senator is using “cherry-picked” examples.
“She’s had 10 that I’ve seen that we’ve found and I haven’t found a single case where she’s sentenced — for child porn offenders — where she’s sentenced with the guidelines. Always below, and almost always below the government’s recommendations — in some cases dramatically below,” he said.

  1. So the Dem's decide that unsubstantiated decades-old claims about sexual misbehaviour with no proof other than "Well she said!" should be enough to derail a Republican judge's candidacy. But Republicans decide that multiple cases of questionable judgements need looking at and the press does a "fact check" and says "Nothing to see here!"
    Let's go Brandon!

  2. Really, child porn sentences are life sentences. It's over the convict. Even after prison he's gotta register the rest of his life. Anyone can do a search online and probably dig up some stuff on him. And because the laws are so draconian people plead guilty just to a avoid an sctual decades long system.

No harm having a lenient judge, if that is her philosophy. The real issue should be getting rights to abortion on demand and same-sex marriage curtailed.
