Levy is among the hundreds of thousands of ultra-Orthodox Jews who have yet to receive their COVID-19 shots. The group has some of the lowest vaccination rates in the country despite being hit hard by the pandemic.

Facing the new coronavirus variant omicron, officials are now scrambling to ramp up vaccination rates in a population that has so far been slow to roll up their sleeves.

  1. One gets the feeling that when Moshe Rabeinu, a"h, talked about how being Torah observant would make the Jews the smartest of all the nations he was giggling under his breath.
The definition of stupidity is making the same mistake a second time and expecting a different outcome. You'd think that after all the devastation from the first several waves that the UO community would be plugging the lines at the vaccination centres but no. The first time they refused to get vaccinated was stubborn stupidity. Now refusing to get vaccinated in a tradition!
