There were so many empty seats at Donald Trump’s Florida event on Saturday that organizers had to shut down the upper level of the arena in Sunrise, Florida, the Sun-Sentinel reported.
Trump fans sitting in the nosebleed section of the FLA Live Arena were told that they were being “upgraded” to the lower levels, according to the newspaper.
Many tickets remained unsold before the event.
Will he run again?
ReplyDeleteDon't celebrate yet. First of all, it's not an election year. Second of all, a small turnout doesn't mean small influence. A small group can have a tremendous influence. Just ask the Dem's who hold themselves in thrall to a small minority of nutjobs who want to turn American communist. Trump could have that same effect on the Republicans.
ReplyDeleteAnd let's say the GOP turfs him because he's losing influence. He retains enough voting power to do to the next GOP candidate what Ross Perot did to Bush I.
Of course. He'll run for the nomination. If he doesn't win it, he'll noisily split from the Republicans and start his own party. He'll know he can't win but at that point it'll be about splitting the vote to punish the republicans so they can't win.
