'RINOs Stole Election, We Steal Lives': Pennsylvania GOP Commissioner Details Death Threats

 https://www.newsweek.com/rinos-stole-election-we-steal-lives-pennsylvania-gop-commissioner-details-death-threats-1643300

Philadelphia City Commissioner Al Schmidt, the official responsible for overseeing the 2020 election in Pennsylvania's biggest city, made the remarks while testifying at a Senate Rules and Administration Committee hearing on Tuesday. He said that supporters of the former president labeled him a "traitor" and a RINO, short for "Republican in name only," for correctly counting the votes.

Schmidt then read a message that demanded he "tell the truth or your three kids will be fatally shot." The threatening message also contained Schmidt's home address, the names of each of his children and a picture of his house.

Other threats included the phrases "heads on spikes, treasonous Schmidts," "perhaps cuts and bullets will soon arrive at [Schmidt's address]" and "RINOs stole election, we steal lives." The alleged threats admonished Schmidt for supposedly having "betrayed" the country by not backing Trump's false claims and warned that "cops can't help you."

  1. Here's the problem. It would be prudent for the Republicans to eject the crazies from their party. However, in order to maintain parity, that would mean the Democrats would have to eject the crazies (the Squad, Bernie) from their party and they'll never do that.

  2. “Philadelphia City Commissioner Al Schmidt, the official responsible for overseeing the 2020 election” Allow me quote the first paragraph of Trump’s letter to the editor of the WSJ dated October 27, 2021: “In your editorial “The Election for Pennsylvania’s High Court” (Oct. 25), you state the fact that a court wrongly said mail-in ballots could be counted after Election Day. “This didn’t matter,” you add, “because Mr. Biden won the state by 80,555, but the country is lucky the election wasn’t closer. If the election had hung on a few thousand Pennsylvanians, the next President might have been picked by the U.S. Supreme Court.”

Seems Al Schmidt knew well he violated Pennsylvania state law as written: “State law clearly says mail ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Yet two months before the vote, a 4-3 majority conjured a Covid-19 exception: Mail ballots that arrived three days late would be valid, even without a postmark.”

Oh, this doesn’t matter to the WSJ, because Biden/Harris by so much.

Back to this week’s parsha חיי שרה my theory. Laban was a fabulous magician. Did he ever see Terah, Abraham’s father, chief sorcerer and head of army of Nimrod? Oh, Laban knew well about bribery, to pay people for information, for hits, whatever. This is why he always had an urgent need of money. Laban knew about politics and virtue signally in his own country and even in foreign countries.

How much did Rebekah know about her father? Hard to say. Didn’t Rachel steal Laban’s idols? What was Rachel thinking? Jacob, Rachel’s husband, was Rebekah’s grandson. Jacob spent 20 years with Laban until Laban started to try to kill Jacob.

Laban knew what to tell the news media: to say conspiracy theories when people confronted him with his trickery. He would say: Do you have proof the election was stolen?

Laban asked Rebekah: “They called Rebekah, and said to her, Will you go with this man? And she said: I will אלך.” (Genesis 24:58). Laban hoped that Rebekah would say no. Then Laban would arrange the divorce between Rebekah and Isaac,

In Jewish law, Rebekah is after kiddushin and needs a get. Laban would do tricks to get all of Abraham’s money. Luckily Rebekah agreed to go with Eliezer. Seems Laban was ok with the 10 camels of gold and silver presents.

Will SCOTUS get involved with Al Schmidt’s bad decision to violate Pennsylvania state law? Will SCOTUS and the NYS Court of Appeals get involved in my good complaints Aranoff v Aranoff? Stay tuned, KA, Garnel, JoeOrlow. 72,000 pageviews why?.

  3. Torah thought daf hayomi Rosh HaShana 24a
“The Rabbis taught: If one [apparently this means here, one of a pair of witnesses] says that it was two ox-loads high [ i.e., above the horizon] and the other three, their evidence is accepted. If one, however, says that it was three and the other five, their evidence is nullified, only each of them can be joined with another witness [who gives the same version as he does]. Our Rabbis taught: [If they say], We saw it in water, we saw it in a mirror, we saw it through the clouds, they are not allowed to testify concerning it. [If they say], We saw half of it in water, half of it through the clouds, half of it in a mirror, they are not allowed to testify concerning it. Since you disallow them [when they see] the whole, can there be any question [when they see] only half? In fact the statement should run as follows: [If they say they saw] half of it in water and half in the sky, half of it through the clouds and half in the sky, half of it in a mirror and half in the sky, they are not allowed to testify.”

Beautiful. The Torah says two witnesses to establish a matter. A small difference among the 2 witnesses on how high the moon was above the horizon---these are 2 kosher witness. A large difference---one witnesses is contradicting the other witness: pasul no 2 witnesses. Witnesses seeing through smoke and mirrors: pasul.

Smoke and mirrors=the obscuring or embellishing of the truth of a situation with misleading or irrelevant information."the budget process is an exercise in smoke and mirrors"

Supreme Court Questions Texas Abortion Law - WSJ
Progressive Left mad Texas law banning abortions. Tough to challenge this Texas law for all kinds of reasons. Good. Who wants abortion on demand? This is similar to divorce on demand. Tough to challenge NYS laws on contested divorce.

Contested divorce = A contested divorce is exactly what it sounds like. Either you or your spouse want to contest one or more of the issues that need to be resolved as part of your divorce. Many contested divorces center around the same major issues, including a division of marital assets, the amount and length of alimony, and child custody and visitation issues.

  4. More on parsha תולדת
    Midrash Rabbah - Genesis LXVII:7
“7. AND BY (AL) THY SWORD SHALT THOU LIVE (XXVII, 40). R. Levi interpreted it: Put up (ועל) thy sword, and thou shalt live (Commentaries: put it up-into its sheath). AND THOU SHALT SERVE (TA'ABOD) תעבד THY BROTHER (ib.). R. Huna said: If he [Jacob] is meritorious, thou shalt serve (ta'abod) him; if not, thou shalt destroy him (te abbed). AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS WHEN THOU SHALT BREAK LOOSE -TARID (ib.) תריד: thou hast fairs (yeridim) and he has fairs; thou hast laws and he has laws. R. Jose b. R. Halfutha explained it: If thou seest thy brother Jacob throw off the yoke of the Torah from his neck, then decree his destruction and thou wilt become his master (This is his interpretation of the end of the verse, perhaps translating, when thou seest him breaking off his yoke (E.V.: 'Thou shalt shake his yoke). Hence it is written, For thou art our father: For Abraham knoweth us not, and Israel doth not acknowledge us (Isa. LXIII, 16): yet where is Isaac? He who says to him [Esau], Decree his destruction, would you associate him with the Patriarchs?”
