The insurrection was an act of political violence that grew from the conspiracy theories and lies promoted by the Trump campaign about the election outcome. “It’s not a secret that it was political. They literally were there to ‘stop the steal,’” said Officer Dunn. “When people say it shouldn’t be political, it was, and it is. There’s no getting around that.”
Outside the room, the GOP was proving Dunn’s point. In a press conference organized by GOP House leadership, Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, who replaced Cheney in that role thanks to her embrace of Trump’s election fictions, promoted a bizarre claim “that Nancy Pelosi bears responsibility, as Speaker of the House, for the tragedy that occurred on January 6.” This is false: the Speaker does not control Capitol security, and it was Trump, not Pelosi, who exhorted the mob to march on the building.
Other Republicans spun different delusions. As the officers testified in Congress, GOP Reps. Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Louie Gohmert and Paul Gosar held a competing press conference outside the Justice Department, demanding updates on so-called “political prisoners” arrested in the aftermath of the Capitol siege.
“The Start of the Jan. 6 Insurrection Inquiry” May I give my perspective? I’m waiting to hear from both NYS Court of Appeals and SCOTUS on my latest petitions. I try to present my complaints as horrific conditions in NYS in divorce matters for the public at large. I say in my SCOTUS papers: "Reasons for Granting the Petition The Court granting me my petition will help root out fraud in NYS civil courts. See Court Scandal Embroils B'klyn Jews by Eric J. Greenberg May 2, 2003. This is critical for public acceptance of the authority of courts. This is critical for public acceptance of TIAA paying out pensions to NYS citizens. The more time passes and TIAA pays 55% of my pension to my opposition the more the public sees public disregard of ERISA and a failure of NYS courts to reign in TIAA's misdeeds. Alas, I'm in urgent need of my full pension. Public knowledge of an ERISA violation condoned by NYS courts attacks public respect of NYS courts."
ReplyDeleteI'm so grateful Trump moved the American Embassy to Jerusalem. As a PhD economist Trump was wonderful and Biden/Harris a disaster. Now with Biden/Harris running away from Afganistan---horrific for American interests. Yes, Netanyahu was wonderful for Israel. I fear Lapid/Bennet supporting Biden/Harris on appeasement to Iran. I try to make my judgments not on me personally, but on the nation state. I'm a nationalist.

ReplyDeleteMy theory. R. Judah is lenient in many matters of Sukkah and mikvah versus R. Meir. Yet R. Judah supports an extreme measure in matters of the high priest on Yom Kippur. Of course, Yom Kippur does atonement for all of israel. This is not a concern for merely one person, however important he is. Beautiful. R. Judah looks to make it easier and be kosher for a person to dwell in a Sukkah and for a person to immerse in a mikvah. Bravo R, Judah. Why? To make it easier for people to follow the Torah. I could understand R. Judah supporting extreme measures regarding Torah laws for the atonement
of Jews.
I now spoke with the clerk’s office at SCOTUS. Yes they talk to me (unlike the NYS Court of Appeals). She tells me: you know how it is with submitting petitions. She did yet not get my petition. UPS delivered to SCOTUS my petition yesterday.

I have nothing further to add on this matter besides SCOTUS #'s 20-8096, 20-7892, 20-6525, 18-9390, and 18-7160 and NYS CoA Motion numbers 2021-359, 2021-54, 2020-352, 2019-266, and 2018-840. Both Judge Prus and Attorney Serlin claimed the Get of 2/17/1993 was just a religious ceremony and both refused to allow me to see the fake/phony Rigler/Rothbart supposed 1995 order of separation.

Yes My appointment is 8/11/2021 for my 3rd shot, thanks for asking. Allow me to tell what happened to me yesterday. I took my dear wife, Yemima, to Tel Aviv for an ultrasound, riding together on my Kawasaki 500. After we rode on the Kawasaki 500 to Lod where my daughter just moved to a new apartment on Exodus Street, up one flight of stairs across the street from a park---beautiful, thank you God. I parked my Kawasaki 500 on a side walk next to a big garbage container. Oh no, I see from a window in my daughter’s apartment that an Arab fellow is leaning on my Kawasaki 500.
After a while I go down and he’s still leaning on my Kawasaki 500. I joke and say, OK with me to lean on my motorcycle. We chat. I ask his name: Mohamed. I ask another fellow his name. I move the Kawasaki 500 to the stair well. No, my daughter says, you go now and never come again by motor cycle. Do I need to bench Gommel? Mohamed may have sought to knock over my bike and if I object, to knock me over and beat me up and then to bring witnesses that I started the fight.
