Congress is built to squabble amongst themselves to shape our laws & dispense monies, the Court to apply the law with detachment, and the President to unify the populace and keep it secure. Re that last job description, the record screams for itself. Only a thorough brainwashing could conclude otherwise.

The other thing to consider is that a President's actions can affect his legacy long after his time in office. If Iran gets the bomb, it'll be Obama's fault for giving them a head start. Will that knock him down a few notches?
