A video lauding Arab doctors and nurses as heroes of the coronavirus
crisis has gone viral in Israel, and its creators are hoping it will
help bring about some change in the country’s politics.
But the creators of the video set out to challenge the nation as well as express its gratitude. “We wanted to say that if you trust an Arab person with your life in the hospital, you should be prepared to trust them to be part of your government,” Shir Nosatzki, the activist behind the clip, told The Times of Israel.
I've met Arab doctors and nurses. There's a simple rule in medicine - leave your politics at the door, the patient's best care comes first. They hold by that rule just as well as any.
ReplyDeleteBut just because I trust an Arab doctor or nurse doesn't mean I trust an Arab politician. L'mashal, I'm sure most Chareidim are decent, honest people but look at their political representatives. Each community sends the worst to represent them.
there is no problem with Arab doctors - they study at Israeli medical schools anyway.
ReplyDeletethe problem is to get everybody who is Jewish to work in low skilled jobs, and hand over every other part of the hi tech economy to the arabs.
Agriculture - arabs. Science and technology - arabs. military? well disband that since learning is a better protection.
This is just rehash of satmar/neturei karta philosophy, which our beloved Rabbi Eidensohn is irretrievably slipping into - whilst continuing to practice as aDr oof Psychology in his own career.
incidentally, what is a politician, if not a secular career? OK, they didn't learn about it, but they earn a fat wage check on account of the Government.
ReplyDeleteThe Plan of Satmar/Eidah/Pnovezh is to have another shoah/churban, which their leaders wanted in Europe to. They estimate that a few pockets of Hareidi Jews will be left in Meah shearim, and maybe Bnei brak, whilst the rest of the Israelis will be killed or sent to america/poland/germany/ morroco.
Israelis know from their parents that this dirty was already perpetrated once in europe, and they will say Never Again!
