Did Sean Hannity use an antisemitic trope in 'Bolshevik Bernie' tweet?

Fox News host and right-wing media personality Sean Hannity received a wave of criticism on Friday night after tweeting an article from his website which users have argued features an age-old antisemitic trope.

Hannity tweeted the headline of the article, titled "BOLSHEVIK BERNIE: Sanders Says Dems Just ‘Beginning to Create an Economy That Works For All,’" which covers Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' response to US President Joe Biden's first address to a joint session of Congress, wherein the president laid out his vision for the coming years.

First of all, Jews were present in numbers out of their proportion in the population in the original Bolshevik movement. Secondly, ask anyone who was in a Communist country in the '30's-50's. The Jews feared the Jewish Communists more than the Gentile ones because the Jewish ones were extra "machmir" to prove their loyality.
Third, how is it that insulting a Jew is automatically anti-Semitism? Bolshevik Bernie isn't much of a Jew and if he says his Jewishness leads him to be socialist he proves his ignorance of Judaism. Like Soros, the terrible ideas he has have to be called out and he can't play the Jew card to avoid criticism.

  2. And therefore we learned from Trump in any disagreement that we need to call our opponent with derogatory names. No such thing as polite or dignified debate!

  3. First of all, nowadays there is no polite or dignified debate. Why be polite where I am so obviously right which makes me virtuous and therefore you are wrong which makes you evil?
Second, we learn nothing from Trump on this. The point is that criticizing someone who happens to be Jewish doesn't make one a Jew-hater. I can't stand Sanders or Soros. Am I an anti-Semite?
