As the FDA and the media continue to insist that hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is not a viable treatment for Covid-19, a coalition of doctors from across the United States gathered for a two-day summit to reach out to the American public with information about the drug’s safety and efficacy in treating the disease.
The group, calling themselves “America’s Frontline Doctors,” held a press conference on July 27 in front of the Supreme Court in Washington D.C. to combat what they call a “massive disinformation campaign” about HCQ.
Sponsored by Tea Party Patriots, a conservative Republican group, and broadcast by Breitbart, the video was posted to the three biggest social media platforms and quickly went viral, attracting 18 million viewers on Facebook alone.
Or, people with mild symptoms recover, whether they take vit c, hcq or nothing. These doctors don't understand science.

ReplyDelete1) Trump likes HCQ. Those afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome will therefore announce HCQ can't possibly work. That the data supports them is a coincidence. But for Trump supporters, it's obvious. HCQ must work because the TDS crowd just wants to discredit Trump
2) When doctors put up videos on Youtube claiming HCQ works (even though it's full of misinformation and lies) and then Youtube takes those videos down, it feeds into the conspiracy theories about how Youtube and the rest of the media are trying to present an "approved" version to attack Trump.

And what NIAID has not published but stopped early for lack of efficacy was ANOTHER randomized controlled trial with multiple arms testing multiple drug interventions against placebo and where the remdesivir arm had some benefit, but HCQ had NONE.
There are a bunch of nuts , both left and right who believe conspiracy theories. They buy false memes like hcq lock, stock and barrel. It becomes part of their conspiratorial framework.
