We should all be very worried about the current situation. Look at Israel. On one hand, China is making massive investments in the country. On the other hand, they're busy selling Iran everything they need to wipe you out. Usually a country would pick a side - why put money into Israel if the enemy you're helping will just destroy your investments? Worse, I've now read a couple of articles strongly suggesting that in a real confrontation, China would easily best the US. As much as you hate Trump, you have to acknowledge that any freedom any countries enjoy nowadays is due to the American dominance of the world order. A Chinese-dominated world order would descend into a 1984-like nightmare. Scary times indeed.
