Trump Aides Have Loud, Gladiator-like Fights in the Oval Office and the President Doesn't Mind, Mulvaney Says

But Mulvaney told the Oxford Union that aides leave their individual thoughts at the door once Trump makes a decision on a subject. As proof, he pointed to White House economic adviser and free-trade advocate Larry Kudlow, who now publicly backs Trump's use of tariffs.
"My party is very interested in deficits when there is a Democrat in the White House," Mulvaney said, according to the Post. "The worst thing in the whole world is deficits when Barack Obama was the president. Then Donald Trump became president, and we're a lot less interested as a party."

  2. Just read the article. From what they quote, he admits no such thing. ?!

  4. Now you've lost me.

The article's strongest assertion would seem to be a sentence in the penultimate paragraph asserting thatThe leak happened to come on the same day the book became available for online pre-order revealing the move as nothing more than a publicity stunt....In other words: an inference by the author.

But the title of the article is (emphasis mine) "John Bolton Admits Last-Minute Impeachment Leak Was A Publicity Stunt", whereas nothing quoted in the entire article (first- or second-hand) could seem to justify asserting said admission.

A clear case of straight-up fabrication, no? looking to create a whisper campaign via a headline, maybe?

This is the first thing I've ever read on this website, so don't know if it's representative of its general level of content. Strange that for all the usual harping on the evils of the MSM, one does not find transparent fabrication quite down to that raw level.

  5. My point was that we don't need a confession from John Bolton. It seems evident the leak was in order for him to profit.

  6. So you're just saying that in your opinion the headline is a sound inference.

Obviously, that is a very different thread, as my comment related to it being a fabricated headline, which it asserted it to be no longer an inference, but an admitted fact.

  8. What does calling Bolton a walrus have to do with anything?
