Vindman was rightly disturbed
by Trump’s phone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in
July, Kelly suggested: Having seen something “questionable,” Vindman
properly notified his superiors, Kelly said. Vindman, who specialized in
Ukraine policy at the National Security Council at the time, was among
multiple U.S. officials who listened in on the call. When subpoenaed by
Congress in the House impeachment hearings, Vindman complied and told
the truth, Kelly said.
General Kelly was Chief of Staff. He quit. He indicated he regretted quitting, specifically because he could have headed off the build-up that eventually led to the whistle being blown.
ReplyDeleteBut Kelly just decided he didn't want or need the job anymore. So, he's like the owner of this blog. Removed from having to actually rule the country, and feeling free to say how the White House must be a pristine environment with only truth, honesty, openness, and kowtowing to liberal senses being the order of the day.
