This is the trap the Democrats have fallen into. For Trump and his supporters this isn't about what's legal and what's not legal. In truth, "it's only illegal if you get caught" is what defines legal today. So instead Trump has fashioned it into "The Democrats want to overturn the 2016 election results. They're trying to do an end-run around democracy because they lost"
