Where to start? Obama strengthened Iran's hard-liners by giving them billions to spend on terror (and don't start with the whole "Well it was Iran's money already" If someone was trying to mug us and I grabbed his gun, would you demand I return it because it's not mine?). Iran never stopped developed its nuke program. It was already heavily invested in controlling Iraq. It had already worked to suppress population uprisings in the region and Americans were already potential targets. In short, nothing changed and the low-key Iranian response to the assassination proves it. But hey. Trump did something so let's blame stuff that's been happening for years, even since before he was president, on him!
