He spent 19 years in prison for not giving a get, and he still refuses to. Therefore he mus be completely nuts. He was willing to do a life sentence, more than than murderers get - that only proves he is clinically insane.

ReplyDeletethere is no judgement to make - what possible utility is there to him to spend 19 years in jail? he won't get money , he won't see his kids for 19 years, he won't have a wife, and he will have a terrible life. That is crazy, call it irrational, but it is certainly not rational.

ReplyDeleteIf it was al pi Navi, then a) that gives us a precedent, b) it can also be overturned by poskim, c) the 2nd galus had nto Navi at the beginning, and needs no navi at the end.
