Trump’s new immigration ad was panned as racist. Turns out it was also based on a falsehood.

washington post

The expletive-filled advertisement President Trump released this week, seemingly to raise fears about immigration in advance of the midterm elections, was widely denounced, with Democrats and even some Republicans criticizing it as racist.
But beyond the outrage, the ad was also reportedly based on a falsehood.
The 53-second video focuses on the courtroom behavior of Luis Bracamontes, an undocumented immigrant who was convicted of killing two sheriff’s deputies in California in 2014 and bragged about it during the trial.
“Democrats let him into our country,” the ad’s script reads. “Democrats let him stay.”
Just one problem: It doesn’t appear to be true.
Bracamontes, who had been deported multiple times before his crime rampage, appears to have last entered the country while George W. Bush was president, sometime between May 2001 and February 2002, when there is a record for his marriage in Arizonaaccording to the Sacramento Bee.

  1. The gist of the ad is correct. Being this is politics, the ad makes a visceral point that is on target.

Within that caravan are likely people who would shoot law enforcement officers to save themselves from getting caught.

By the way, as someone living in America I find it worth noting this blog originates from a place where the army shoots people who try to force their way in to that place from Gaza. I think the U.S. has something to learn from that.

Planned = criticize (someone or something) severely.
"the movie was panned by the critics"
    Falsehood =
    synonyms: lying, mendacity, untruthfulness, fibbing, fabrication, invention, perjury, telling stories;
"the right to sue for malicious falsehood"
I saw the ad and read the horrible Left hate Trump Washington Post piece. I agree with Joseph Orlow; “The gist of the ad is correct. Being this is politics, the ad makes a visceral point that is on target.” The Washington Post pushes the positions of the Moslem Brotherhood etc---the crazy Left, Obama, etc. I love Trump and Netanyahu. Isn’t it wonderful the new leader of Brazil will move Brazil embassy to Jerusalem? Please everyone who could, vote Republican.

  3. The gist of the ad is that Democrats enable murderers to enter the country. That is a false libel.
The caravan is a non-issue drummed up by an ignorant fascist wannabe to try to stir his ignorant racist supporters to come to the polls on Tuesday.

it is likely that some of the jews killed were probably some bad people - shoot first and investigate later

"Miller stated that the victims of the Kent State shootings were "bums and they deserved to be shot."
