I was just informed that Rav Shmuel Kaminetsky was recently disinvited from a rabbinic conference in England where he was to be the guest speaker. Major rabbis felt it was inappropriate for him to speak after the revelations about the "heter" that he was involved in. Therefore they withdrew the invitation.
It is clear that the upset about the heter is spreading and will have disasterous consequences for those who were involved in "freeing" Tamar Epstein from marriage without a Get. It is time for the "heter" to be officially withdrawn by those who produced it.
This is a sad, but very positive development. I am shocked that he is still scheduled to be at the Torah Umesorah presidents conference in Miami. Has anyone spoken to Rav Avrohom Chaim Levine who is the Rabbinical head of Torah Umesorah?
ReplyDeleteThis came from R' Moshe Shternbach so if the poster feels better by misleading everyone that its spreading it wouldn't be the first time on this blog that this happened, come to think of it most if not all posts are slanted, inaccurate and misleading.

ReplyDeleteOh my!! You are right. Maybe Rav AC Levine hasn't heard yet and you should tell him. By the way, Rav Shalom shlita will be speaking in the North Miami Kollel so it looks like some mainstream people are still ok with RSK and RSK.

I wonder why my comment wasn't posted. Did i hit a raw nerve by claiming that it was R Moshe Shternbuch that had them cancel Reb Shmuel? That in turn goes back to the Moderator of this site who holds himself as someone "In recent years I have received guidance from Rav Moshe Sternbuch of the Eidah Charedis." lets have some honesty. While we are at you you can also answer the question about AF getting physical with his first Kallah. You accused RSK of making it up but you wont get the answer from AF. Or is it possible you know the answer but it doesn't fit your agenda so you leave it out?

Rav Sternbuch did not cancel Rav Shmuel - it was senior rabbis in England who made the decision after carefully studying the evidence. When did you stop beating your wife? Oh you say it isn't true - but prove it!
ReplyDeleteThe accusation against Aharon Friedman is of the same nature. Tamar never made any claim that Aharon was abusive nor has anyone There is no evidence that the claim made has any validity. Aharon says it is a lie. From the incompetent psychologists who came up with a false diagnosis of severe paranoia and OCD - this claim can not be taken seriously.

I don't know what you want. If Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky and his dear son Shalom are no longer considered Gedolim, where will the mamzerim find a shidduch outside of Philly Yeshiva?

The issue of AF abusive behavior was something you tried to say RSK made up since anyone that knows him can see hes a nice guy. I challenged you on that fact that its a very simple to verify ask his first kallah if he was abusive to her or not. In any case you want everyone to take your word for it and believe that RSK made it up .I am sorry that you have your agenda and will not be tolerant of anyone that challenges you. If you don't want to put up my posts so be it.
