To help me understand this situation, I have to ask some questions about what may be going on. I remind you that a couple of years ago, you warned me that when a Gadol says something, we should take it seriously. Thus I wish to ask a few questions:
1) Up until this this crisis, was RSK an accepted gadol b'Yisrael?
2) Is it possible that he may be losing his marbles, as he has made some weird statements, eg agaisnt vaccines. ?
3) Can a Gadol or several gedolim err? This is a rhetorical question, since the Torah says the entire legislative body [sanhedrin] can err, and provides the formula of korbanot to rectify this.
Eddie, I never accepted RSK as an expert on halacha or Gittin, based upon a question he once asked me that showed he was ignorant of Shulchan Aruch Even Hoezer. He was a Rosh Yeshiva with no fear of going where he did not belong. That is the basic problem.
Reminds me of the parable from the Dubna magid, of seeing a peasants barn with targets which he always hit bull's-eye , and when asked how he had such expertise and never miss the bull's-eye he replied first I shoot then I draw the target. maybe just maybe when someone shows himself to be so unethical and so irresponsible maybe in hindsight he is not the Goddol after all, the question whether a godol can are if it's a valid question definitely does not include someone who is shown to have less then a stellar character. Same for torah umesorah convention it is not they who will define who people are it's the people they honor who will define who they are in the long run , see aguda with their convention they used to have great people being honored to speak and it was a great convention today, oh well , do you remember who was last years featured speakers? oh well
Another example of a mossad that can't operate without air conditioned resort facilities. Undoubtedly, the educators attending are using their yeshiva's money to cover their (and their wive's) room, board, airfare, incidentals, expense account.
And a previous post was worried about lavish yeshiva living?
This conference is more for board members or benefactors who are deeply involved in Yeshivos. These are people who are giving their hard earned money, valuable time, sweat and blood for Yeshivos. Yes, they can get some air conditioned rooms.
I'm not begruding the participants their air conditioning. Just comparing the other post's arguments.
These leaders of mosdot are owners of their own private business, called a yeshiva (or BY). They work hard at it, investing their time, money, and personal aggravation. Why sometimes they have to make up fake facts and solicit seruvim and heterim. That's part of the yeshiva business. I'm not begruding the rebbetzin her air conditioning.

Interestingly:
1) RSK is not giving any of the Yarchei Kallah shiurim.
2) RSK is not mentioned as giving one-on-one consultations.
3) If he will speak, it will not be streamed live, while 15 other speakers will be streamed live.
The two other Rabbonim at RSK 's two sides see photo above were just very very recently added to the Torah umesorah program! and see for yourself in the yated add of the prior week RSK was pictured alone! damage control!
Who knows Maybe they will still add another two more "Gedolim"
