Schlesinger Twins: Court document - Rabbi Biderman sent Beth's confidential email to Michael and to Judge Thau

The following is a court document which shows clearly that Rabbi Biderman is not only a supporter of Dr. Schlesinger but was actively involved in the custody battle against Beth.  Before Beth had her own blogsite, she would alert a small mailing list of Rabbis to events in Austria in the hope that someone would listen and step in. Rabbi Biderman was one of these Rabbis and, unbeknown to Beth, he was forwarding them to Dr. Schlesinger and also to Konstanze Thau (the judge who is the friend of Dr. Schlesinger who inappropriately intervened in the case). Schlesinger's lawyer accidentally forwarded it to the court and it became a court document.

  2. Rabbi Biderman knows the situation inside out and determined that Dr. Schlessinger is in the correct in this dispute.

    1. Does that allow him to be corrupt? I can tell from your tone that you are one of the people from the Viennese 'Jewish' community.

Rabbi biderman fills me with disgust.

    2. A.F.S., If Rabbi Biderman knows the situation so well, why is he not even attempting to rectify it? His lack of concern for the twins' welfare and future is despicable, as is his behaviour regarding the above email. Now we really know what kind of a man we are dealing with - a dishonest and untrustworthy one. You apparently know him well so please explain to him that the boys need his help - desperately!

  3. How can it be law for a Rabbi to email a judge?? I have never in my life heard this. If this is a legal argument then no witnesses or defendants should have any contacts to judges directly.. That in itself with this evidence is enough to throw this case out

    1. The Supreme Court already upheld the verdict and there is no further avenue to appeal other than the European court which takes years to decide whether even to look at the case, which in 98% of the filed cases it reject even investigating.

This blog posts and other ones which show bidermans involvement, are to demonstrate to the readers that biderman HAS been involved in the case and has been party to the associated corruption.

It is now up to him to make amends and involve himself to give custody back to the mother. If he fails to do so, he is accountable to all the followers of this case and chabad. Every chabad rabbi in every country should be concerned that biderman is bringing down the reputation of chabad, and suitable measures should be taken so that biderman is no longer recognized as a chabad rabbi.

    3. There's nothing Rabbi Biderman can do to "give custody back to the mother". Only a court in Austria can do that. And all the courts through the appeals and Supreme Court have upheld the custody for the father.

    4. You're missing the point. The point is rabbi biderman has seriously let down the rabbinic title, the chabad title and what is left of his own credibility.

What is rabbi biderman going to do now?

    5. This judge (Thau) was not the judge dealing with the case, Libby Stein, but a converted Jew who is a member of the community in Vienna. But we know that she a) received this mail illegally from the untrustworthy Rabbi Biderman and b) intervened in the case equally illegally. Now why did the rabbi forward Beth's mail to 2 people it was not intended for? It looks like he was an accomplice in crime, encouraging Judge Thau by his illegal action to become involved when when she had no right to. And why did she do this? Did she perhaps, as a convert, want to gain prestige within the community which she felt she did not have? Rabbi Biderman was clearly supporting Dr Schlesinger through his action and Judge Thau likewise by intervening. The Vienna IKG cannot be proud of these 3 members, who should be facing the court themselves, while Beth should be with her boys.

    6. am and Visitor: Why are you being so negative when all that matters in this case is that every single person who posts on this blog should be caring about those traumatized little boys? You don't sound as if you care an iota about them. You obviously support the father but instead of thinking so negatively, it would be nice if you tried to work out some ways of solving the problems we're discussing.

    1. But where are Oscar Deutsch, Ariel Muzicant and Rabbi Eisenberg? They're the leaders (and ex-leader) of the Vienna community but what are they doing to save the two suffering children? Can't they get this dishonest Rabbi Biderman to toe the line? Not only Jews will be reading this blog and .........concluding what you have, RR.

  5. There is a lot that Rabbi Biderman can do. He can explain his actions to us on his blog.
If he feels his actions are just then let him tell us why.
This problem will only escalate if he does not speak!

    1. Rabbi Biderman can convince Rabbi Pardes that the two of them together can sit down with Dr Schlesinger and have a heart-to-heart talk to him about what they can do to save the boys' lives. As it is, those children will have no chance in life and will hardly be able to become good Jews when their main carers are Christian. Rabbi Biderman, who gets so much money for Chabad from wealthy donors and Chabad people, needs to be punished by them (no donations!) if he refuses to explain himself.

  8. Disgusted individualApril 3, 2014 at 12:45 AM

Three important points to note here.

First (irrespective of the rights and wrongs of the underlying dispute), a Rav owes a duty of confidentiality to his congregants, particularly in family disputes such as this. Beth Alexander reached out to him with a plea for assistance and he forwarded her email to the father and a third-party (see below) in clear breach of such a duty of confidentiality. If Rav Schlesinger he was associated with my community, I would have no hesitation to remove him immediately from office.

Second, this clearly demonstrates that Rabbi Biderman's actions were biased in favour of the father. This in itself is not an issue but for the fact that on this blog, various people (primarily from the Viennese community) have clearly claimed that Rabbi Biderman was acting in an impartial and detached manner, having only the interests of the children in mind. This email clearly demonstrates to the contrary.

Third, this demonstrates authoritatively that the father (together with Rabbi Biderman) was having a judge that was not involved with the case interfere with natural justice. How else can you explain how the judge was a recipient of Rabbi Biderman's email? This is in my opinion the worst part of all of this. If this email is not a forgery (and I have no reason to believe it is a forgery), it proves Beth Alexander's contention that there are dark forces at play.

Altogether, I'm disgusted at this entire affair. Perhaps a private prosecution against the father, Rabbi Biderman and the judge for perverting the course of justice may be appropriate.

Start up a legal fund and I will donate.

  9. Why was Rabbi Biderman having private phone conversations with Judge Thau?

    ReplyDelete
  10. This is an outrage. Biderman and his cronies, being the rest of the chabad gang in Vienna, are a disgrace.

No words can describe their atrocious behaviour towards Beth.

Biderman needs to make a statement.

If he does not come out and explain why he forwarded Beth's confidential emails, he is as guilty as sin.

  11. It occurred to me, someone who knows nothing about this case other than what I read here, that Rabbi Biderman may have a reason to do what he is being accused of, that has some merit. And that is, the control over the children is in the hands of the father. If the father wants to, he can do what he wants. And it seems he is doing what he wants. At this point, he wants his children in Chabad school. But if Chabad antagonizes him, what will he do? So Rabbi Biderman may feel that he must do what he does to keep the children in a religious school. Again, I don't know anything about this case, but nobody should be in such a predicament, and if they are in one, we have to present two angles, at least, to be fair and honest.

  12. If you feel a good approach is to write personal letters to Rabbi Biderman and the directress of the Chabad kindergarten in Vienna incase Rabbi Biderman is not visiting this site then go to this link
    http://www.chabad.org/centers/default_cdo/city/Vienna/country/Austria/jewish/Chabad-Lubavitch.htm
press on it and it gives you email access to all of the Chabad institutions in Vienna. If enough of us flood their inboxes they will need to find a new online system to protect themselves from their own corruption. Reading our emails should wake them up a little and clog the system a bit

  13. Rabbi Eidensohn Rabbi Biderman may be protecting the children whist they are in a mixed ability class in his kindergarten. What does he intend to
do with them when they are six? They are well behind other children of their age. Does he have facilities for
children with special needs. Where are
the assessments and how can Beth be assured that they are in the best place for their needs?

If Rabbi Biderman buckles under pressure, will he tell the father to take the children elsewhere? Which school will take the children? What will
    become of them?

Education is a partnership between parents and school. The children have
not done well with the father/school partnership

No one has truly the interests of the children aa paramount or they would not be separating a perfectly good,
    capable, loving well educated mother
    from her children.

Perhaps when writing your letters and emails to Rabbi Biderman you can address the points herein.

  14. Another approach would be to google your local Chabad, write them a letter about Rabbi Biderman, Beth and the twins and the bad press its giving to Chabad overall. Give them the link to daas torah so that they can follow these conversations if they feel to
Google Chabad central headquarters in the USAand write them letters expressing your concern about Rabbi Bidremans actions and demanding that they look into it before Chabads name worldwide gets slandered as this story growsinto an international phenomenon. Get off this website now and start writing. It will only take 5 minutes of your time and may get to the right people...the converted on this site dont need converting

I have it on good authority that the Chabad rabbis in the UK are frustrated and infuriated by Rabbi Biderman. However, you need to lobby Chabad in Crown Heights. No-one in the UK has any sway.

  15. Rabbi Biderman was against Beth from the start. We can see that he has done everything in his power to help Michael to get custody. Why are
chabad standind behind "this bad egg"
whilst he is damaging their reputation?

    Rabbi Biderman has issued false
psychological reports on the boys whilst unqualified to do so?

He refuses to communicate with Beth regarding her boys welfare and
education and has not shown any documentation from the court saying why.

He has forwarded cconfidential email sent to him directly to Michael and the judge without sorting Beth's permission

Why was Rabbi Biderman communicating by email and by phone directly with ths Judge?

The truth is now slowly coming out.
A bad reputation is very difficult to repair.

Chabad needs to make Rabbi Biderman account.

  16. What is wrong with forwarding this email? Is there anything in it that can be used against her? Should this imply that Rabbi Biderman is taking sides or perhaps that he is not taking any side?
Even if it was wrong of him to forward the email addressed "Dear All", could it possibly be an innocent error and not an attempt to conspire against her?

I know Rabbi Biderman personally. To imply that he was conspiring with a violent husband and the Austrian justice system against a mother of two young children sounds unrealistic, to say the least.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I hope you are simply naive. Rabbi Biderman could simply have asked Beth if he could forward the letter. It is obvious she would have said no.
Furthermore what was the necessity of forwarding the email to the judge - the friend of the Schlesinger family - who intervened against Beth?

Rabbi Biderman not only was forwarding Beth's letters but he also took the initiative to tell the court the the twins were doing fine - something which wasn't true and which he did not have direct knowledge about i.e. it was hearsay. It is rather obvious that these two facts indicates he took Michael's side against Beth. It was obviously not an innocent error.

I suggest you ask Rabbi Biderman why he did these two things and did he view that he was acting a neutral party in doing so?

    ReplyDelete
  18. What has Rabbi Biderman ever done to help the situation regarding the children having better contact with their mother? Has he offered to do any handovers, which are needed because Michael Schlesinger cannot control his anger and even pushed Beth in front of her lawyer outside the Court recently, which was witnessed! If I was a Rov, I would be telling Michael as I would tell my own son. " Look here sonny, you need to make shalom with Beth for the sake of your children. Also you need to keep Court orders instead of messing around and not accepting suggested people to handover the children, which would not be necessary if you didn't have such a violent temper". If Michael has no respect for Rabbi Biderman, then he should exclude him from his Shul.
