  3. Hashem allows teshuva for any sin. The self condemnation of someone who made an error is one of the yetzer hora's greatest tools. It makes one tell oneself I stink so nothing that I do matters. However, this is very far from the truth and with basic teshuva everything can be turned into shegagos or even zechuyos.

    In this case, he may not even have been guilty of anything but simply a victim.

    It says shiva yipol tzadik vekum. A tzaddik fails or falls seven times and gets up again. Many have said that this is the normal situation. There are many stumbling blocks on the way to perfection and no one should ever give up for any failing. Hashem hamerachem provides a way of teshuva for everyone including someone like Rav Eliezer medurdi who was sunk into sins of immodesty all his life.
