In what is believed to be the first time in the history of the Roman Catholic priest sexual abuse scandal in the United States, a senior church official is to appear in court Monday on charges of covering up the activities of predator priests.

Unfortunately, this does not bode well for the Jewish world. All it would take is a couple boys/ girls who were abused who are willing to speak out and the frum world as we know it in the US will be finished in two respects.

2) The potential finaicial penalties would be too much for the community to absorb
