Sabbar Kashur, 30, had consensual sex with a woman after he posed as a Jewish bachelor interested in a long-term relationship.
When the woman found Kashur was not a Jew but an Arab, she filed a police complaint that led to charges of rape and indecent assault.

This has no place in the courts. The girl should be ashamed of herself for going like this.

Guys will say anything to get into a girl's bed, they'll lie about their age, their economic situation, their marital status, etc.
That’s not to say it's OK, it's just a fact of life. But not to a Jerusalem court, which ruled on July 19th that a married Palestinian Moslem, father of two, pretending to be a Jew will spend the next 18 months in jail for raping a Jewish woman. The two had consensual sex but the Palestinian man led the woman to think he was a Jewish bachelor looking for a meaningful relationship. The Palestinian will also pay the woman $2,500 and face 30 more months in jail if he repeats the same "felony."
The judges said the act was achieved based on a false presentation and if the woman had known that the guy wasn’t a "kosher Jew" she wouldn’t have cooperated with him.
This is a new low for the Israeli justice system which is known to be hard on Palestinians for committing "crimes" which Israeli Jews don’t see the inside of a court room for.
