Not to be confused with the Tropper affiliated Gateways division of Arachim, "Jewish Gateways" is also doing interfaith outreach.

  2. Teaching children about the internet is a lot like teaching kids about TV or any other cultural/technological reality.

We can address these issue head on or we can pretend we can cloister ourselves and pretend we can cut ourselves off.

We either have faith that the values taught in the community are appropriate and will take hold or we don't.

The jury on that is still out.

    Therein lie the real issues.

The children posts slurs about each other's mothers, and what concerns the parents? That the kid may be hurting his college prospects or future employment. The reason to cultivate good character in modern society: so that civil society rewards you.

With a disgusting ethic like that, should we be surprised by these children's lashon?

Children fib, yes, but they don't really lie! The emes here is telling & putrid.
