This sefer is a scholarly critical edition recently published by my son Shneur Eidensohn from a manuscript located in the British Library. This the first time that Sefer HaNer on Shabbos has been printed or published. For a description of the nature and importance of this sefer click here.
And the reason you're posting about this fine sefer?
ReplyDeleteMy son Shneur just published it. I'll write more about it tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteMazal Tov!! Have only Nachat from your children.
ReplyDeleteWow! what a great zchut.
ReplyDeleteI recommend that your son contact Rabbi Dr. Alan Corre who may be able to refer a translator for Judeo Arabic.
Email: corre@uwm.edu
For those who are interested in Judeo Arabic here are Rabbi Dr. Corre's websites:
https://pantherfile.uwm.edu/corre/www/judeo-arabic.html
https://pantherfile.uwm.edu/corre/www/judeo-arabic2.html
Oh, well in that case Mazael Tov and many more such simchas.
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing. May you only have more nachas from your children.
ReplyDeleteJust curious - did your son work on this sefer under some kind of organized program/funding (e.g. kollel, university, etc.) or on his own time? Is it self-published, or was it published through a publishing house, and if so, which one? Do you have the bibliographic info?

It was an independent project that was self-published.
No I don't have bibliographic information.
It should be availble in seform stores in Israel and probably in America in another month.
Mazel Tov Rav Shenuer Eidenshon and Rav Doniel Eidensohn. Rav Doniel , you should have many similar occasions to rejoice, and you should have much similar nachas from all your family.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he should submit it to hebrewbooks.org. They have sefer haner on Berachos already
