Chabad - Disturbing videos

While we have been have an intellectual discussion of Chabad - we know that a picture is worth a 1000 words. There are many video available on Youtube and other sites regarding these issues.

Here is another showing the Nashei of Chabad giving him signatures on a petition proclaiming him Moshiach

check out 770live.com for many interesting items.

There is also an interesting video of 770 of the minyan waiting for the Rebbe's chair being brought in before they start davening. They sing melech hamoshiach until about 2 minutes into the video when the chair is brought in.

  2. Very disturbing. Chabad messianism is Avodah Zarah that is killing Jewish souls. Indeed. I agree with you. But will you agree with me? See, something very painful is the case. A great birur has recently occurred in the Land of Israel.

If the world of "Da'as Torah" would have listened to the Rebbe, we would not have had the Oslo agreements and the 1500 dead and the myriads of wounded that came in their wake.

This is the truth, and it is not addressed by those who must address it. Instead, it is denied by those who must concede, countered with lies by those who must speak the truth, and fought with hollow reasonings by those who claim to be wise.

Whenever I post on this issue on a Charedi forum, my posts are rejected or deleted, and I receive threats and curses. Because there is no defense of substance. But with the help of HaShem I shall continue as long as the Chilul HaShem continues.

I write this in love. With pain. Much much pain. I hope you can tell.

The matter cannot be hidden, as some seem to hope. It is recorded in Shamayim. It is recorded in thousands and thousands of instances of human documentation.

The goyim rejoiced, and they will not forget the victory, while the faithful of Israel mourned, and they cannot forget the loss. The faithful also did not forgive. They were not asked to forgive. Because those who sinned do not acknowledge error. Because it was the Rav who spoke. How could he err? We remember the name forever: Rav Ovadia Yosef.

Pursue peace, the Rav proclaimed, return the Land, Pikuach Nefesh overrides all. Such was his Da'as Torah. Who would believe it? Pikuach Nefesh! Go tell the victims. But we also remember the other name, and we shall not forget: Rav Elyashiv and his court. We shall not forget the dates: Asarah B'Tevet 5765 and Tish'a B'Av 5765.

Because, after the Oslo disaster, Da'as Torah brought us the Disengagement. The absurd and wanton destruction of the life's work of thousands of productive Jews, the destruction of Jewish villages, Jewish industry, Jewish agriculture, Jewish learning institutes, synagogues, graves, without any reason, without any purpose.

Once more "Pikuach Nefesh" was claimed, but when the sounds of these words, uttered by "gedolim," reached our ears, we saw through our crying eyes what the words tried to mask: Sinat Chinam! Pikuach Nefesh - Who would believe it? Today, mamash today, very very dangerous rockets are transported from Egypt to the northern border of Gaza. All cities of Israel are soon going to be shooting range. While the Rebbe worship is killing souls, the worship of gedolim is killing and threatening our bodies. Ad Matai? HaShem Yerachem al Am Yisrael. Yichb'shu Rachameicha al Ka'ascha.

  3. Regarding the Oslo agreement. As in all conjecture about historical matters - it is easy to say a different path would have produced different results - but there is absolutely no way of knowing for sure.

    1) It is possible that things would have been better without Oslo - but perhaps they would have been worse.

    2) There were intelligent and experienced men on both sides. There still are.

    3) Why don't you follow the Satmar view that all the deaths were the result of Zionism? It is just as logical as the opposite view that you are proclaiming?

    4) I appreciate your sincerity - but your assumption that you know better than others or that those you disagree with are not too bright or wise - is a bit too much. It understandable why others find your comments offensive. Perhaps you will consider expressing yourself in less dramatic and offensive ways.

  4. The government gave autonomy to the PLO, and guns, and called it peace. The Arabs called it war and used the acquired freedom and the received weapons to shoot Jews and blow up busses. Do you call this a conjecture in historic matters? Likewise, the rockets to be will leave little to conjecture about the Ma'aseh of 5765. The Satmar point is moot, because even if Satmar is right, the above is still true. Oslo still killed its victims, and regarding Disengagement, only fools are not shivering about what is happening. May HaShem protect us. Regarding experts on both sides, what you state is an illusion. No expert believed that the Oslo arrangement would save lives. All such claims were political. Military assessments are politiced in Israel. A posek who is not aware of that simple and sad fact has no right to pasken. As an aside, why would any individual have the right to grab political power to pasken on national matters in the name of Torah? Regarding my offending style, I think the content of what I write may be offending. I don't think it is the style, but thanks for the advice, and if you really think it is the style feel free to be more specific. Yishar Koach for allowing my comment. Be Blessed.

  6. Firstly, this sort of thing is only done by a fringe element in Chabad. It is far from typical.

Secondly, Mr. Lerman, I agree that many of the things this fringe group do are off the wall, and I think the Rebbe is not pleased with it. But that doesn't make it avodah zara, ch"v. That's a very serious accusation, and it's a term that has a specific meaning. Some of the things mentioned may be weird, but they do not qualify as a"z or apikursus, ch"v, and it's simply absurd to hear this claim repeated ad nauseam. If you want to say it's incorrect, or weird, please just say so without using wildly exaggerated language.

As for what you wrote about giving away land, I really didn't follow it.
