Rebbitzen's Husband has posted an extensive English summary of the 55 page Hebrew ruling of the Rabbinical Supreme Court. From the parts I have read it seems to be an excellent job. For part I click here

  1. I thought this translation was excellent and have passed it around to people I know who were struggling to understand the Psak of Rav Sherman.

Many years ago, a cousin of mine who is also the great grandson of the Pele Yoetz, Rabbi Eliezer Papo ztl was approached to translate the Rav's works into Spanish.

My cousin, a Professor of Linguistics who is more than fluent in 8 languages declined because he said that "only RABBIS (and preferably the students of the Rabbi author) should translate halachic or haskafic works".

From the discussions on this blog, I have have really gained even more appreciation for work of the translator.

  2. What is Rabbi Rozen's take on this, given that he was previously involved in Giur and in bringing allegations against Rabbi Druckman to light?
